Where can I install it?
We generally recommend installing it in the center of the windshield, slightly toward the passenger side, provided it does not obstruct your view. Note: Before applying the 3M adhesive, first attach the static cling to your windshield.
Do I have to use the Hardwire Kit to install my ViewClear 70?
No, you can choose to install using either the car charger cable or the Hardwire Kit cable (both included in your package when ordered from the official website). However, if you need to activate its parking surveillance mode, you must install using the Hardwire Kit.
Does the Hardwire Kit connect to my car battery? Will this prevent me from starting my car?
No, Redtiger dash cams all feature low-voltage protection and won't drain your battery. You can safely use the parking monitoring mode.
How long is the warranty period for the ViewClear 70 when purchased from the official website?
Under normal circumstances, Redtiger dashcams come with an 18-month warranty by default. However, if you order directly from the official website rather than through other channels, you will receive an additional 6 months of warranty coverage. (We can track this through your order records.)

I feel much safer now that I have this dash cam took a while to get it to connect to my phone. Just don’t like that I have to keep connecting it every time I get in my car but other then that I love it

I installed my F77 camera system in mid-June 2025 and am quite happy with it. I had some trouble originally with powering on the camera but that turned out to be a issue with a third party power supply I was using. The brightness and color is outstanding. As I worked through my power problems the Redtiger support was quick to respond to my emailed questions and helpful in helping to track down my problem. If I need another cam Redtiger is my choice. I mounted my cam intentionally were I would not be overly distracted by it but still can verify that it is on.

Very easy to install. Follow Redtiger's instructions exactly. The wire connections (constant-yellow/ignition-red) for the Redtiger is just opposite of other dash cam setups. Great video quality. No drain on the battery. One of the best dash cams I have installed.

Love the camera. We did have a problem with the OBD connection not working with our '24 Honda CRV. With the excellent customer service we received from the Red Tiger team, we got it up and running with the hardwire kit. It is working GREAT. Did wireless installation, for me as a tech, it was a snap but for a layman there is no real clear instructions for it. All in all, this is my second Redtirger and I have no issues. Video is clear, touch screen made setup even easier than the last model I had (non-touch). All I have to do next is install the rear camera, I take my time I'm a retired old guy...lol
