Where can I install it?
We generally recommend installing it in the center of the windshield, slightly toward the passenger side, provided it does not obstruct your view. Note: Before applying the 3M adhesive, first attach the static cling to your windshield.
Do I have to use the Hardwire Kit to install my ViewClear 70?
No, you can choose to install using either the car charger cable or the Hardwire Kit cable (both included in your package when ordered from the official website). However, if you need to activate its parking surveillance mode, you must install using the Hardwire Kit.
Does the Hardwire Kit connect to my car battery? Will this prevent me from starting my car?
No, Redtiger dash cams all feature low-voltage protection and won't drain your battery. You can safely use the parking monitoring mode.
How long is the warranty period for the ViewClear 70 when purchased from the official website?
Under normal circumstances, Redtiger dashcams come with an 18-month warranty by default. However, if you order directly from the official website rather than through other channels, you will receive an additional 6 months of warranty coverage. (We can track this through your order records.)
