REDTIGER F7NP Dash Cam Front Rear, STARVIS 2 Sensor, 5.8GHz WiFi-20MB/s Fast Download, Dash Camera for Cars with GPS, HDR Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, 24H Parking Mode

I have this REDTIGER dash cam installed in my truck. It has GPS built in, with a GPS antenna, and it suction-cups to the windshield. It has a nice wide screen and both front- and rear-facing cameras, and the quality is really good. The screen has a timeout setting, so it isn't bright at night. The install was really not that bad. The cables are nice and long. I ran the power cable and the rear camera cable inside the door seal. The power cable goes to my plug-in point, and the rear camera cable goes along the seal all the way around to the back window. Even in the truck, it was long enough to go over the top and down the other side. The rear camera is small, so it nestles in. I stuck it right up against the back glass, so it stays inside and records out the back of the truck. If you're installing it in a truck, watch which direction your back window slides so you don't hit the camera with it. The GPS works well, the functionality is good, and it connects to Wi-Fi so you can view the footage on your phone. Loop recording works well. I've had several dash cams, and this is by far my favorite. I'd 100% recommend it. I run one of these in every vehicle I own.

I purchased this camera 2.5 years ago, and recently it stopped working. It seemed to be a system glitch—it simply froze. Two of my friends also bought the same camera, and theirs have been working perfectly fine. I hesitated to contact the seller because the warranty is only 18 months, so my camera was clearly out of warranty. However, I reached out through WhatsApp. The representative was very helpful and gave me instructions on how to fix the issue, but unfortunately, nothing worked. After that, they simply sent me a new camera! I’m pleasantly shocked. I’m writing this review because I want people to know that this is a responsible seller with excellent customer service. And I really like the camera!

I have been truly impressed by REDTIGER's customer service. I purchased the F7NP and experienced a few product issues over time. However, every time I contacted REDTIGER's support team, they exceeded my expectations and resolved the problem quickly and professionally. In some cases, they even sent replacement parts or replacement units to ensure the issue was fully addressed. While product quality is certainly an important factor when choosing a brand, reliable and responsive customer support is just as important. Knowing that a company stands behind its products gives me real peace of mind as a customer. Because of the excellent support I have received, I will continue to use REDTIGER products and would confidently recommend them to others. Their commitment to customer satisfaction has earned my trust and loyalty. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is my second RedTiger DashCam. The first one stopped working after about 3 plus years of usage. The clarity of this new one is phenomenal. I’ll add just one more thing. The Dash Cam front camera lens does have the RedTiger Circular Polarizer filter on it that I highly recommend purchasing. Last, I’m impressed with the download speeds too..

Bought this dash cam sometime ago and just kept in my old car as I could not find someone to properly install it. I added this to my Civic and had my friend (car guy) hide the cables under the ceiling of the car. cable length was enough to do so which was great. camera has a great price for what it does. pictures are clear. i suggest upgrading the memory card, I didn't find the record time long enough. camera beeps every few weeks for me telling me to erase recordings to make space. it records while parked if there is movement which is also very nice. had a car hit my parked car and leave, this was luckily all recorded. the quality of the recording is more than enough as well. sucktion holds very well, just sometimes falls off when it'd too cold or too hot but that is expected. great alternative if you don't want to install one from the dealership.

In my first experience with a dash cam, I can confidently say that it is a worthwhile investment, particularly for the 4K recording capability of the front camera. The installation process is straightforward, but it is crucial to purchase the hardware kit to ensure continuous 24/7 recording. While upgrading the memory card to 256GB may provide additional benefits, the 128GB card that comes with the dash cam is sufficient for most needs.

REDTIGER F7NP Dash Cam Front Rear, STARVIS 2 Sensor, 5.8GHz WiFi-20MB/s Fast Download, Dash Camera for Cars with GPS, HDR Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, 24H Parking Mode

Overall reliable with good video quality, but frustrating file access Front camera first two pics then rear dash image I’ve been using the front and rear setup (F7N) and overall the camera records well and is reliable. The front camera footage is very clear, audio records well, and the unit itself is compact and unobtrusive. Buttons are usable once you learn the menu system, though it feels a bit clunky for 2025 compared to touchscreen tech. I appreciate that it does not automatically upload to the cloud for privacy reasons — however, this is also the biggest drawback. Any time I want to view or download footage, I have to be physically in my car and connect my phone directly to the dash cam via Wi-Fi. If I forget to download a clip before leaving the car, I have to go back out and reconnect everything. The Wi-Fi connection between the phone and camera is very slow. Downloading just 4–5 short clips (under 3 minutes each) can take 40+ minutes, even with my phone right next to the camera. While downloading, the phone is essentially unusable despite the app claiming background downloads. Rear camera quality is decent but noticeably less sharp than the front. Still usable, just not as clear. Storage fills quickly if you use parking mode — a 64GB card only holds about two days of footage for both cameras. I strongly recommend at least a 128GB SD card. Overall, good video quality and reliability, but the app experience and file access process are frustrating. I’d love an option to enable cloud access only when needed (for travel or quick downloads) and turn it off otherwise. Pros: great front video, good audio, reliable recording, privacy-focused Cons: very slow downloads, must be in the car to access files, clunky interface, weaker rear camera

A very good quality camera and Video. Great customer service! After much research, Red Tiger is the only dash cam I found that has an external camera for the rear of the vehicle. All competitors have a rear camera the mounts to the inside of the back window. I chose the hard wire option, sold separately through Red Tiger, since I wanted the camera to start automatically when the truck started. The kit includes a cigarette lighter plug. The interface is very easy to navigate. The camera on the right side has three buttons aligned vertically. The top and bottom buttons are used to advance or back track. The middle button is used to select. The instruction booklet is written well, and has QR codes that direct you to install and connecting your phone to the camera to downloading recordings. Customer support responded promptly the next morning as my email to them was in the evening. The only challenge I had was connecting the phone app to the camera. It was my fault. I would have saved time if I just followed their instructions from the start. I am very pleased with the product quality and confident knowing that if I have a question down the road that a friendly customer service team is a phone call or email away. FYI - The recording is crisp, and clear. The truck was facing the sun which made the camera in the pic look dark.

I have F7NP camera. Pocture quality is great woth really good angle, easy to navigate and easy to use app. Only problem I had it is attached by a tiny bolt and nut that I advise to check. It is not intuitive as it comes attached out of the box as single element. It somehow unscrewed itself during driving, camera fell and tiny nut ended up somwhere in my ventilation system behind the dashboard. Now it's hanging on a piece of string as I can't find a tiny bolt like that anywhere. As a result I have to knock some points off the review, which is a shame as otherwise good piece of equipment for the price.

My previous dash am was the BlackVue front and back and an external battery to run it in parking mode. Just installed this REDTIGER front and back camera combo with touchscreen. Hardwired into the car fuse board, all works as described on their website and really happy with it, I do like the idea of having a screen because my previous one didn’t so I couldn’t really tell if it was working properly without connecting the app on the phone, and it cost me 5 times more than this one. The only downside that I would say is that the GPS mount is a little bulky, I wanted to install the camera newer to the middle of the windscreen where I had my previous dashcam so it’s less obvious. Because of the size of the mount the camera sits lower and knocks onto the rear view mirror and it’s currently set off centre. My next step is to get a bigger memory card. I believe it supports up to 256GB.

This is the best dashcam I've ever used. I previously used two other dashcams from other brands, but those ones were difficult to use and stopped working. This dashcam is easy to use and easy to install. I was able to reuse the rear camera cable from my previous dashcam, which saved a lot of time. I recommend using 3M command strips to install the rear camera, makes it easier to remove the camera if ever needed. This dashcam uses WiFi to connect to your phone. The dashcam will tell you its name and password, which you'll select and input on your phone. The associated App seems easy to use. All in all, definitely worth the money.
