Does this dash cam record when my car is parked and turned off?
Yes! Our dash cam features a 24-hour Parking Monitor. To use this feature, the dash cam needs to be connected to your car's battery using a dedicated Hardwire Kit (Free dashcam with purchase on the official website). Once hardwired, it will automatically record any bumps or collisions while your car is parked, without draining your car battery thanks to its low-voltage protection.
How clear is the 4K video quality at night? Can it read license plates?
The Redtiger F7N-A is equipped with the industry-leading Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. This provides ultra-clear 4K (front) resolution with Super Night Vision. It effectively balances light and dark areas, ensuring license plates and road signs are clearly readable even in low-light conditions or completely dark roads.
Is it difficult to install the front and rear dash cam by myself? Do I need a professional?
Not at all! Most of our customers install the dash cam themselves within 20-30 minutes. The package includes a trim tool and detailed instructions to help you easily hide the wires behind your car's interior trim. You simply plug it into your car's cigarette lighter. For the rear camera, you can easily mount it inside your rear windshield.
Do I have to manually delete videos when the SD card is full?
No manual deletion is needed. The dash cam features Seamless Loop Recording, which means it will automatically overwrite the oldest unprotected videos with the newest ones when the memory card is full. However, if the G-sensor detects a collision, that specific video will be locked and will not be overwritten. (We recommend using a U3 class MicroSD card, up to 512GB).
Can I view and download the dash cam footage directly to my smartphone?
Yes! The F7N-A comes with built-in Wi-Fi. You can easily connect the dash cam to our free Redtiger App on your iOS or Android phone. From the app, you can view real-time footage, playback locked videos, and quickly download evidence directly to your phone to share with your insurance company or the police.
Will this dash cam survive extreme heat in the summer or freezing winters?
Yes, it is built to withstand extreme weather. Instead of a traditional lithium battery, this dash cam uses a built-in Supercapacitor. This makes it highly heat-resistant and safe to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F to 149°F (-20°C to 65°C), significantly extending the lifespan and reliability of the device.

We've only had it a week & so far love it. I haven't gotten it synced with my phone yet so will have to wait & see how that goes.
So far so good. Had it about 2 weeks now. Front camera is very impressive as well as the camera features. I would say the only two downsides are the rear camera resolution and quality as well as needing a proprietary cable to plug it in and it takes more power than some of the other dash cams while the cast is not running, which drains the car battery faster.
The OBD port doesn't last for very long when parked. Maybe an hour, so it isn't super useful for the time-lapse feature. My car is a hybrid, and I asked the virtual chat agent about my battery. The virtual agent said it would work just fine. Just wanted you to know. Oh, and I had to order the OBD port separately from Amazon because you were out of stock. Otherwise, the installation was pretty easy and the product seems great except for the parking mode draining the battery so quickly.

Bought this camera about two years ago and the only complaint is that the suction absolutely SUCKS. At first it would fall off about once every few weeks which was fine but recently it’s been impossible to keep it up. The camera has been falling every few minutes especially while driving. If you buy one, super glue it to the windshield.
The picture and overall Quality is A+ with the Redtiger F7NA . Cannot say enough about Redtigers help line it is so good to talk to representatives (ie)real people who have great knowledge about the product they are selling. This was not my first Redtiger dash cam, when I purchased the F7NA I went direct to company and the experience was and still is exceptionally good, a lot more peace of mind as opposed to buying from Amazon, Live and learn. About the dash cam everything is going as advertised unlike some other things I have purchased, not from Redtiger. I am having little problem with rearview camera I think it's me, not worried I know who to call. Thanks Rick

A very good camera, if you like multiple on-screen menu settings this is the camera for you, I prefer set it and forget it devices, suction cup attachment to windshield is a small diameter, my Nissan Frontier has limited windshield space available and makes installation a challenge

Had to delay installation, supplied power cord was too short. Hardwire kit for my truck would not work, no fuse box in cab. Red Tiger sent me an OBD kit, that worked great. One complaint, driver assist kept telling me I was drifting out of my lane when I was pretty much centered. I had to turn ADAS off. Other than that, so far so good.
