Been a great camera! Had to mount on the car cameras this time and the stick mount works great! The suction cup didn’t stay since it’s not a Smooth surface. Rear cam isn’t hooked up in this new car yet. But it was great in my previous car. Great quality, relatively easy to operate the menu once you realize what each button does.
I like the Redtiger F7N. I bought one for my vehicle and later another for my wife. I like that I can 'set it and forget it' because I'm not one to fuss with a good product. I like that it is small and barely noticeable (see photos). I did have the camera professionally installed (hard wired) just so I would not have wires visible. I like that it takes a good video so if I ever need it the video will be useful. Redtiger is a good company with excellent customer support. Do not hesitate to buy from RedTiger, my experience says they will stand by their products.
Transferred the video wirelessly to my phone, awesome! I needed to take the SD card out to view on my old dash cam. Took a good video and the gps coordinates are shown. Love it

Heat sensitive. Caused problems with suction mount and screen goes too dark to see. Unit powers on and off repeatedly. BUT, when it works, it works perfectly. Great video and sound. Replaced suction mount with adhesive mount and no more issues.

I have had this installed for almost a week now and the adhesive sticker is already falling off the windshield. The video quality is great though. I just wish it would stick to the windshield.

I do believe this should be a standard option for the F7NP instead of the suction mount. Suction mounts just do not hold well. Otherwise, it was a good pricing experience with fast shipping, and fantastic customer support.

So far it’s exactly as advertised.
The camera is mounted into a 2014 Honda CRV. The best location is in front of the rear-view mirror which includes an area of black dots. The camera came with a suction cup mount which would not hold suction on these dots. Hence the need to utilize a mount with the 3M adhesive.

Camera is great. The only issue is the suction cup keeps falling off the car glass. Even using the tape it still falls off.

Cleaned the windshield. got rid of the suction cup and mounted the stick on unit. Works like a champ.

I originally had the suction cup mount. When the weather got hot the suction cup would not hold any more. Since I installed the new one with double sided tape, I have not had any problems.
Love my dashcam! Easy to install and to use. Picture quality is not the best, but it shows a good placement especially when sitting on a slightly greater tilted windshield.
This solid mount is way better than the suction cup mount. It also provides better visibility and sticks far better to the windshield glass. I just wish I had known this was an option when I purchased this great little camera!
We have 2 of these mounts for both our front cameras, we really like them, they are small and not huge like some of the other ones and it seems to work great. We are happy with our purchase!
