The RedTiger F7NP 4K Dash Cam installation was easy and the numerous features let me dial in on the perfect set up I was looking for. The 4K front cam offers amazing detail and picking up license plate numbers (If needed) even at a distance. The rear cam in 1080p which I mounted inside the rear tinted window gives me a great vantage point for those tail gating idiots. Again, details on license plates is awesome.. The only adjustment I had to make was to swivel the rear cam up slightly to get away from the defroster lines which set it up perfectly for detailed views. The ONLY suggestion I’d make is I wish RedTiger would have a swivel adjustment to the mount. You can move the front cam up/down easily but there is no movement left/right which would help dial in the perfect views! Awesome Product & Technology!! Be back soon for to add one to my truck!! Thnx

the front camera is really nice. i like the design and of course the 4k camera. it was very easy to install. i have a truck, so the rear camera i didnt install it. the wifi connection to the phone needs to be improved. when trying to watch videos it buffers every 3-5 seconds.

Best camera for your money. I did my research before I purchased. I contacted the company multiple times before I even bought it and they responded within 12 hours every time. They sent the hardwire kit for free as advertised in the instruction booklet. You just have to ask. The video quality is as good as the more expensive brands. I bought a license plate mount for my rear camera. Works great. Cons - The parking mode leaves a little to be desired because once the g sensor kicks in the incident would be over. But I don't know if that is all dash cams or just this one. This is my first dash cam. You could use the 12, 24, or 48 hour time lapse but it would use up your memory faster and chance running down your battery. I wouldn't take a star off for it cause I'm sure that's just how it works on all dash cams. It's not recording anything until it detects a movement then it has to power on and then start recording. That's just how it works and that takes time to happen. The other con is it only records 8 to 10 second videos in parking mode. Neither of those are deal breakers for me though. The redtiger app works great for me. Downloading videos only take about 3 to 4 minutes, less for the rear footage. It's going to depend on the length of the video and the quality you recorded in. The hardwire kit was easy to install. Be careful installing the wires near your airbags. The settings are easy to figure out and self explanatory. My g sensor is very sensitive. Sometimes even on low it still starts when I shut my door. So you won't need high for sure. I put on my windshield near my mirror and I can't even tell it's there when I'm driving but it's still in reach to save an incident if needed. I like the sticking mount instead of the suction cup. I hate suction cups cause they always fall off. The fact the it doesn't have a battery was a plus. Batteries get hot or cold and quit working. The main reason I chose this camera was the reviews were good and they all raved about the customer service. I thought well even if the camera isn't as good as claimed the company will make it right. But the camera is very good. Does everything as advertised. You can read license plates just fine which is the most important factor I was interested in. I highly recommend this cam. There may be better cams out there but not at this price and not with all these features. Buy it.

The clarity of videos and the easy use of functions, and ease to upload videos and snapshots to the app and your phone to share or watch. I recommend this medium priced range Dash cam for high price quality.

Camera, app, and ease of use are all excellent. With the camera tucked behind the mirror it’s hard to access the dash cam controls, possibly RnD a button on the underside more easily accessible. I hardwired the camera directly to my 2020 Tundra. Had it done by Hendrick Toyota. Can’t stress how important it is to get it hardwired by professionals who work on your type of vehicle every single day because a little bit more (315$ for install and labor) but worth every penny so that your computer system doesn’t glitch out on your vehicle or send out safety Center warnings. Would strongly suggest And recommend red tiger products anybody looking for a great deal in regards to cost for what I would say market.

I really like this dash cam, its compact size that goes along with the outstanding video it produces. Road signs are read at a distance and when up close license plates can be read and tonight the videos were pretty darn sharp, I'm impressed. I do wish I could put the rear camera up in the rear window, but from what I see with the mount I can't, but it's just as well for my window defroster lines would show. It's very satisfactory on the rear deck lid. All in all this dash cam is superb.

Dashcam works as expected and image quality is outstanding. Emailed the company about obtaining an in-car rear camera and they shipped me one free of charge with an extra 20 ft. rear camera cable. I can't rate it's quality driving at night as I haven't done that yet. Otherwise as I said it works as advertised. The first pic is where I placed the rear camera on the inside hatch of my '17 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and second pic is of front dashcam. Definitely recommended!!

To fix the rotating circle black screen. Go to the settings in iPhone and proceed to the UCam app. Turn off the Cellular Data. After I did that the live video Appeared.

First I would like to give this Company Props for sending out the hardwire kit to me for Free. Also, this Dashcam works so great. My shaky hands couldn't get a good pic. LOL. But believe me its crystal clear. Even the rearview camera provides Great Quality too! It was also a breeze for setup. So far this gets 5 Stars from Me...will update in 6 Months about quality.

Looks nice and worked well for few days...but it gets hot quickly...before I restarted everything. There is an issues with the buttons in the side....but I get a refund and the customer service was very helpful and professional to get this isssue fixed. Otherwise this camera is easy to set up and gives a clear videos recording and easy to download to the phone via wifi. So I want to thank the customer service for their help and for taking care of the issues I had.

The small camera size doesn't obstruct my view. Its easy to remove the SD card and watch the video on my computer. I've had several dash cameras and this one is by far the best. It allows me to see clear license plate numbers. I like the fact that with the GPS player I can watch the video and track where the video was taken on Google maps. I contacted customer service about the hardwire kit so I can use the parking monitor and they sent it out to me free of charge with follow up E-mails to make sure Im happy. Top-notch customer service in today's world is hard to find.

The camera does a great job. I think it is well worth the money. I drive a Ford F-150 so I decided to mount the camera on the back window frame. I just got some aluminum and made a bracket to mount the small camera. I measured and placed it between the camera between the heating elements. The camera works great. The night video is a little dark as they are not infrared cameras. In daylight they work awesome. This is a great camera for the money and I agree probably the best all around out there. The only think better than the camera is the customer service. They respond quickly and are very quick to assist you with getting it running correctly. Great company. I would buy this again...

Nice picture with correct white balance during daytime and nighttime. License plates are readable even in low light conditions. I bought this for $118 and thought it was a great deal. Apps and software can be improved. Could be better if there was a Li-ion battery installed.

Very easy to install and the wires are long enough to tuck away into the trim and run underneath my dashboard to my cigarette lighter. (2018 Camry) All concealed with trim tool included. Many options to customize to your needs. I have mine set for 1 minute clips to make it faster to download the clip to my phone. I use the memory card suggested in the add. My rear camera is mounted inside my rear window and its not noticeable to me as I drive. I like that the screen saver can be set because cameras really aren’t allowed on base but no hassles since the screen is black also Maryland has a thing about things in the windshield so the screen saver makes it less obvious. No issues with police so far. Good product to have because people will lie or drive away on you now days and the recording could be of some help. Don’t be that guy that has no witnesses on your side when you’re in the right.

This is an excellent unit. Easy to use and install and does not hinder your sight. Customer service is excellent. I wrote and asked for the suction cup so I can move unit from one car to another. Received it via UPS in 3 days. Just like any product you buy, sometimes there are glitches. These negative comments are unrealistic; people's expectation make it seem like they live in a perfect world where they are always 100% satisfied with everything they purchase.

There are a handful of videos on the internet showing the quality of the video recorded by this dash cam, so there is no need for me to elaborate here. It is excellent!! I was interested in testing how the camera would handle glare on the windshield while driving into the sun. This has been an issue with other dash cams I've used in the past. I found an area to park facing the sun with some signage (see photo) and this cam compensated very nicely. The GPS is fast to acquire a lock, the quality of the audio recording is super, and I like the use of a USB plug for connecting the power. I have other cams that use a pin-type connector for power and found them to be very unreliable and prone to failure and/or falling out of the camera during off-road use. Speaking of the USB power cable provided with the camera...it's a dandy! It comes with both a 90-degree USB plug on one end and a 90-degree car power plug on the other with enough cable length to reach the back seat in a small SUV! OK and here is some really great news. The device is furnished with a mount that's semi-permanently attached to the windshield. However, Redtiger has recently developed a suction mount for this camera that is also a dandy. I had the opportunity to test this mount, in conjunction with the camera, mounted behind the rear-view mirror of a compact car. Yes, the combined mount/camera package is actually small enough to fit between the windshield and the back of the mirror! I'm just now getting familiar with the companion app that's installed on my iPhone, so I have only a couple of comments there. The app was easy to install, easy to figure out what buttons did what and was helpful in adjusting the camera view whenever access to the screen on the camera was obscured (either by glare from the sunlight or by the rearview mirror). One final note: I have contacted the folks at Redtiger several times and found them to be both very helpful and extremely fast to respond. Because of the quality of this dash cam, combined with their customer service, I give them five stars!

This camera has great day and night time footage. I just connected the rear camera and am using both. I did notice the video stutters a bit when recording 4K in the front while using the 1080p rear camera, but it’s not a big issue. Stepping the settings down to 1440p up front and 1080p rear fixes the stuttering (I'm using the best recommended SD card in this camera as well and I'm confident that's not the issue). Camera quality is very sharp up front, and the rear 1080p camera is also very adequate, although not quite as crisp, and night recording isn’t quite as good, but it gets the job done just fine. 4 stars because of the slight video stutter and the clunky app. The app does work, but I say it could be better, and the connectivity is sometimes difficult to set up if things get disconnected.
