"Man, I am still fuming. Got pulled over on my regular morning commute. Cop claimed I was doing 65 in a 45 zone. Complete BS, I know this road like the back of my hand.
I confidently told him, "Officer, I have a dashcam, let me just pull up the video to show you." I opened the app on my phone. Big mistake.
The standard Wi-Fi transfer on my current cam is an absolute joke. I'm sitting there sweating while the progress bar just crawls... 1%... 3%...
The officer is standing there, tapping his pen on his ticket book, getting visibly annoyed. After a couple of minutes, he lost his patience. "Sir, I don't have all morning to wait for this."
I panicked, popped the tiny MicroSD card out, and just handed it to him. He takes it back to his cruiser. Comes back 10 minutes later, says his laptop can't read the file format, and hands me a speeding ticket for $245. Not to mention the points on my license now.
If my cam had a fast enough connection (like WiFi 6) to just download that 3-minute clip to my phone in 10 seconds, I could've showed him the screen and walked away clean.
Seriously guys, when you have an impatient cop standing at your window, you don't have 5 minutes to sit there waiting for a file to buffer. Lesson learned the hard way."
